Yep, if only we had a way of pouring a concrete cap layer over our dodgy seals.
Malcy is saying that we've met most of the conditions for an oil find with the area being charged from the source kitchen. Many drills don't even get that. So the hunt is now for the 1 element missing. A good seal in the next location drilled.
A lot have given up. No surprise. Its a long wait between drills. Some might be back later closer to any action to try their luck while its good riddance for others burnt too many times.
