Australia's first commercial caesium mine was officially opened on the 20th of September 2018 in Western Australia.

It makes the Sinclair project, owned by Pioneer Resources, 40km north of Norseman just the third mine of its kind in the world. The other two are in Canada and Zimbabwe.
