The last 4 quarters were spent with management in offices or working from home, sorting through effectively paperwork and planning for permits. Hardly a need for an influx of staff.

They and their teams are now boots on the ground, working on managing multiple contractors for drilling, project evaluation and study completion - for two different drill sites.

It should be hardly surprising to see an increase in staff costs quarter over quarter with this influx of staff required.

It's the reality of business; you don't pay staff to sit on their hands and do nothing when they aren't needed. You hire and pay staff only when they can be utilised.
