We see that chart in the ann showing the price of Pig Iron compared to Iron Ore. Clearly Pig Iron is the best route to take for the company - higher margins and a greener product.
Yes, and of course there's a double benefit here, because we're not just talking about the premium of Pig Iron pricing over bulk ore - as mouthwatering as that is in this case where relatively simple and economic biochar processing will be employed.
If you do all the value-add onsite, then ship out a 'concentrated' product like pig iron (and predominantly to local buyers), one of your major costs, transportation, is minimised too.
