There’s just a preliminary study with GEV on ship transportation and that’s a long way off. First phase H2 offtake is going into the Dampier to Bunbury pipeline if McGowan and McTiernan get their way, that’s always been the plan I think. WA State Govt isn’t facilitating this and giving lead agency status to us and throwing a bit of cash GEV’s way for us for next phase export out of the goodness of their hearts. They see green transition benefits, jobs and investment. Time will tell but I see no political opposition to this either - even a change in Govt is highly unlikely to materially alter this project’s course. Ammonia et al is going to be a byproduct of what they’ll be producing at Carnarvon so no surprise they are making plans for that too.
