With the counter-argument:
1) LFP is safer i.e. less fires
2) Could you see your average non-car enthusiast driving a NCM or NCA powered EV that goes 0-100km/hr in under 3 seconds? LFP is for the masses.
3) and this is the most important factor - LFP is cheaper. Plain and simple. That's why everyone is switching to it.
As I said, it's lithium and nickel costs that are the problem in lithium-ion batteries. Not the cobalt.
