Negotiating strategy Part 2 (Vietnam Peace Talks negotiation)
Whether this is a true story I can not be sure, as I have not located a reliable source to confirm it. (I heard it during a negotiation training course some years ago.)
The principle is sound ... he or she who can wait longer may secure the best outcome by exploring all possible options.
This may be the diligent process by ASM from which we will all benefit in due course.Reassurance on progress, without prejudicing the best possible outcome, would be most welcome from ASM.
