You’re spot on with several observations. Much appreciated. I did indeed state that all such REE deposits of monazite (the #1 global REE resource) will have U/Th with no exceptions expected, but with wide variability.
Hastings not that much higher U/Th than Mt Weld but meaningfully so. Temporary storage suggests the material will have to be moved again, which represents an additional risk. Hopefully some of these early indications prove beneficial to getting these resources to market and especially to ex-China downstream metals and magnets makers. Juice the Green Revolution!
Totally agree that public investment and successful private cash raises build confidence that the project is solid. I knew that; I’m already an investor.
The interesting bit for myself is the chemistry.
