I think you might be exaggerating it a bit, but the thing that stands out to me is the $5M cost to get silver back up and running. More than I figured and is why they went on the CR. 150K oz per month should be easily doable, it could be higher once it is dialed in but even if it was only 80K per month they should still be in profit range.

The cost per ounce is somewhere around 22-27 and silver price is still $31.4 right now. But I hope MKR are not selling the silver and wait for the silver price rebound. Maybe open up a silver shop and refine some of it themselves, would increase exposure to their brand and offer higher return. Doesn't cost much to open an online shop and it would easily cover the refiner margins. Two extra employees to handle the in/out/orders, ~120K/year, I am sure they have relatives needing some job .
