Of course there is risk here, but it is low at these prices. Unless the price of spodumene collapses, the price of ESS must soon be multiples of the current price. There are no credible projections which show other than a deficit in the supply of spodumene. There have been multiple credible commentators pointing out that it takes much longer to find and develop a mineral deposit than to build a car factory or a chemical plant. This is particularly so for the projects extracting and processing chemical solutions from ground water in South America. Recently I listened to a one hour pod cast featuring Robert Friedman, a world leader in the mining industry. He mentioned a huge copper project his company was about to start up in the Congo. They have been working on it for twenty-seven years. People who think we can cease production of ICE vehicles by 2030 or 2035 and still have vehicles for people to by, have no idea of the time scale required for the development of a mining project. We are well advanced and are the only project in Australia which has not committed its production to an off-take partner. We are sitting in a prime place to gain maximum benefit from the deposit we have. The journey from here is likely to be spectacular.
