Actually we were told that we could expect much faster results and lower transport costs due to the labs. Unfortunately the labs experience huge delays so even while we get the samples to them faster and cheaper, we are still dependent on lab turn around times.
But you can just reach out to management yourself. Louie often replies swiftly (although I am sure he also cannot tell you when results will be delivered)
