The role of a Quarterly is not to provide new information, but to summarise the previous releases made by the Company during the quarter. The reason the ASX marks quarterlies as PRICE SENSITIVE is because the Appendix 5B statement (Financials) updates the cash position and revenues. Most explorers don't have any revenue, so the idea of quarterlies being price sensitive (as dictated by the ASX) is frankly a bit of a misnomer.
This quarterly gives a clear update of what has happened over the last quarter - and it appears to have been a transformational quarter for PTR. With the infill drilling just completed, and results due, it will be interesting to see the numbers that come: as a betting man, I would imagine some good numbers will be forthcoming. DYOR.
