There have been very significant delays with the lab work. They actually could not find a lab that could do the work for a time. Welcome to the new world where everything is delayed!
The important thing is the company seems very close to dealing with the emissions side of the torbanite project, whilst simultaneously propelling a very exciting geothermal plan. Talk about potential perfect timing with electricity prices sky-rocketing.
Bitumen prices have also skyrocketed. Torbanite produces bitumen which feeds to asphalt production. Bitumen is otherwise made through the crude oil process and is imported from Asia currently.
GRV is on the verge of greatness. May not feel like it, with it languishing at about $50m market cap.
My numbers suggest Alpha will shore up as a $2b NPV given current bitumen prices. Just my numbers!
The geothermal play will be bigger than that.
Lots of potential upside for the patient!
