Was a good day all round! Hope Gainz is correct, would be nice to see some drilling before the end of the year.

Along with everyone I'm hanging out for some good news on the Vic EL front....but not expecting it this side of Christmas based on previous wording (don't mind being wrong though)

Some interesting detail from the recent Agnico Eagle Q3 announcement, notably:

So, the intersection in UDH446 previously reported by AEM on August 11th is now assigned to a new mineralised structure, interpreted as a hanging wall splay of the Curie Fault. How or if this changes any previous structural interpretations will be interesting. Whether it would have implications along strike into S2’s ground is a longshot I guess, much more likely to be of importance at the local level – but who knows. Robins Hill geology section (from AEM technical report), prior to recognition of Hoffman Fault:

Also and probably of most relevance, a new intersection in UDR020 – some 2.5km down-plunge from Curie mineral reserves – difficult to pin point it, but just approximately assuming a relatively consistent plunge orientation then that must be starting to get close to the lease boundary!

Flicking through the Fosterville technical report to try and find info on Robins Hill made for interesting reading. The effective date of the report is December 2018, but was issued in April 2019. So this was the period that Kirkland lost EL3539 (the ground S2 now has), and seems at the time they were confident of getting it back:

Obviously wasn't to be - but the report highlights all the geochemical, geophysical and drilling data that FGM/Kirkland had collected over EL3539.....makes me realise what a head-start S2 has once this goes live.
