Great to get some further clarity. Would still like a forecast timeline for when we will acheive commercial production, but still, strategy much clearer.
Ultimately Phase1 2200 mtpa goal has been dropped. Phase1 is now really the 600 mtpa Neodymium iron boron (NdFeB - I'm still learning the lingo). Good to see the plant is breakeven at that point.
Then ramping up that line to 3600 eventually whilst in tandem moving the Copper Titanium Boron (CuTi) line along which will eventually be 1600 mtpa making up the previously stated 5200 mtpa (exact mix subject to customer demand).
So the the timeframe between 600 - 5200 is still pretty hazy, and certainly has been pushed out, but at least we know the strategy.
PS: Nice to see them still working on other pilot sample version of Zirconia and Hafnia metal types with ANSTO
