With copper up 8% Friday night, and look to be breaking out on the charts:



Looks like might be a good end of year for copper stocks, if copper prices start heading back up to 4000 level.

Thought I would share the updated price history for HLX:



Updated price history analysis on HLX, I posted this a couple of months ago and now giving the updated version, its a bit of a different TA approach from charting, looking at more volume and price stats, I use this to try to automate trading ideas, but hopefully others get something from it.

So on the right hand side you can see the stats from the last 6 months of data vs the last 12 months, stats like average daily volume, daily value traded, high and low price and dates, the number of positive days, negative days, VWAP (price most of the volume trades at), date most volume occured, the % return over both periods, etc. Also there is some novel data in there like the average tick volume and value, which shows how much it takes to move the share price a tick so on average the amout it takes to get from 0.07-0.08

Highlighted cells in the volume column occur when volume is over the average. You can see recently we havent had anywhere near the average volume, lets hope given this copper surge in price, we start seeing a bit more interest, couple this with some good drill results  and we will be flying!
