Important to note that they called out the Urbix JDA with SK On. Perhaps part of the JDA stipulations is securing fine supply by investing in BKT's superior product?
The SK On/Ford relationship is similar to the LGES/GM one where GM invested into QPM (nickel) through the LGES connect.
If BKT pull off final funding with support from the BlueOval SK JV and POSCO it will be a significant upstream player in the EV anode supply chain across US and Asian markets. Not surprised we are getting some interest into February with volume picking up.
