I still think that MXR will proceed with getting a shallow gold mine underway sometime this year and hopefully sooner than later. That option or move has been signaled for some months and I think the Board will be keen to achieve something tangible for shareholders to digest before the AGM later in the year. If the gold price remains at present levels or even moves higher which I think and hope could happen then the basis for making the move into production is surely attractive enough.
If they become fixated on the idea that they are going to find the next Wattle Dam then they could be passing up an opportunity to get some cash flow going instead of spending all the precious funds on searching.
They have to make a sensible move soon.
