    CXO if im not mistaken is producing this year. So they'll be making big bucks this year while lithium prices are at their highs.

    ESS earliest production is 2026, so thats why the closer you are to producing, the higher the valuation will be. The further away the more risk on various factors including lithium pricing. I'd agree with @WhatsTheTip analysis

    ESS not a bad place to park spare funds in the event of another offer by another party
