I think what they really need is a big name signing up for offtake of the metals or alloys, someone like Tesla, GM, Hyundai or the like. It’s just a bit concerning that they so far only have one customer, and for a small contract. This was always a risky proposition with a technically very difficult mine in Dubbo, and an as yet, to some degree, commercially unproven metals tech (we don’t really know if it’s commercially viable yet, despite the feasibility study showing good numbers). Forecasts and reality can at times be poles apart.
I do suspect part of the reason for the $14 share price was due to the everything boom, with all the we that went on with Covid, but hopefully we start to see some good fundamentals. They are doing something no one else is after all in the West!
