It is unlikely to be another placement to retail/sophs like the one undertaken by Talga late last year.

The next stage of financing will be tapping into the European Investment Bank's (EIB) 300 million loan, Nordic Investment Bank, Swedish & Swiss export credit agencies etc. This will be complemented by equity funding from a 'strategic partner' - that may be Mitsui or another mystery OEM who wants a stake in Talga at the 'project level'.

We just need to get the permits over the line and get ACC and possibly 1-2 more customers to binding to unlock these cheap debt financing options.

Talga may have additional financing options post March when the European Commission is due to release its 'Critical Raw Materials Act' and also the 'Net Zero Act'. Talga's Vittangi project will likely be classified as an 'Important Project of Common European Interest' (IPCEI), which will help unlock further assistance either for Stage 1 or more likely the Niska expansion by the time the Acts have been voted on and implemented by member states.
