Most of the ITE work I have been involved in would be two staged, and iniitial rapid review prior to the full due dilligence. The reason I have used a rapid review is to flesh out any fatal flaws. Not always used but I am seeing it more often. A full DD on a metals mine for example could easily take 2-3 months subject to data being made available etc. The comment above re DD having been undertaken is true and likely to assist in this timing. This timing would include back end review, Q&A of findings etc.
