I did some sums, I don't know if they mean anything.
CNP total asset position at 31/12/07 was $8 billion. Liabilities were $5.6 billion leaving a net asset (equity) position of $2.4 billion.
Discounting intangibles of $565 million, there is a tangible net asset position of about $1.9 billion.
There are 860 million odd shares kicking around, so that equates to $2.20 per share???
