Why such a small amount of shareholder funds spent on Herries...

Why such a small amount of shareholder funds spent on Herries range when I think over 10m shares were issued to their directors for the transfer?
I know over a dozen companies walked away from the area but surely it worth a few pilot drill holes to see IF there are any hard rock minerals there. We do know there is some Alluvial gold in the creeks and small 1 gram nuggets around but why not at least put a few holes down. We are all waiting for some mineable results. Too much on admin and not enough finding resources.
