the spodumene rise from US$400/t in 2020 to the stratosphere, back to $3,700/t now probably went a long way to attracting the greedy sharks. along with motivating Government Ministers and other parties to relinquish on their agreements.
This unwanted attention, and changes of mind by officials may not have happened if spod was $700/t
I suppose we'll never know
