From DCN quarterly:
Care and Maintenance activities continued at Mt Morgans during the quarter.Activities were focussed on process water supply approvals, ore purchase/toll treating arrangements and TSF design capacity options. Additional water supply options have been identified and the approvals process commenced to secure these options.
Kin expressed interest in having ore processed at the Mt. Morgan's mill last year, but DCN decided to put the mill into care and maintenance partly while they looked for better water supply. Also, imho between the lines to keep the mill for Genesis ore. Genesis ore will now go to former SBM mill. I am pleased to see DCN is now actively looking for ore. A milling deal would turn Kin instantly into a producer.
Fingers crossed: Deal on decent terms between Kin and DCN to mill at least some ore ... Kin has 100koz permitted and ready to go once contractors appointed. Then, deal on good terms between Delphi and GMD to help hand full ownership of DCN to GMD. There wouldn't be a contractual link between the two transactions, but GMD must know Delphi would not be interested in handing over the 10% of DCN they control before Kin has a milling deal.
