The company has clearly changed direction with the processing and completely moved away from schoenite conversion. It is clear they never wanted to incorporate flotation of any salt or in any form. Without doubt some of the problems at SO4 and KLL has shown how wise RWD has been.

Whether not the back mixing will remain part of the evaporation sequence, in the context of KL and the syngenite reaction remains to be seen.

From searching online it is clear that the syngenite reaction, in various contexts, has been around along time. Reward appears to be incorporating something that isn't a completely new concept but the exact way in which they use the chemical reaction to recover SOP will be their own.
