So I obviously used google as well when researching Sweden summer holidays shut down, which had many links stating no one works, but I wasn’t really convinced so I figured I’d ask my mate’s who lived there who all confirmed no one works. When I asked even if the Swedish courts had deadlines to look through for mining permit approvals during a day of the summer holidays? They simply laughed and said “good luck!”

So I dunno we all have different answer so agree to disagree but I did your google search and you left out a point that is the first thing you see: “…the months of July-August are tradiontally “light schedule”…the courts tend to deal with urgent matters only”
I don’t know what defines a “urgent matter” but perhaps to them appeals aren’t seen as urgent.
