That long cable proposed from the NT to Singapore , would that be copper?
There are lots of offshore and onshore wind projects around the world that require cable. Big thick cable at that.
Some of that will be aluminium I guess but lots of it will need the better conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper.
Demand for copper is just going to keep increasing.
