There was grant funding being sought. But have yet to see any mention of it since the EU sovereignty fund got put aside, and STEPS programme took its place. No new funding for STEPS but looked like it open the gates to FinTech to apply for funding for all sorts of token apps that reduce carbon foot print.
So suddenly "strategic projects" need to compete with all manner of initiatives that don't build or open up upstream supply.
Alot of European companies are addicted to government subsidies its no wonder they can't act on their own volition.
