imo having new projects in the pipeline at least provides some options for the company, i dont think there is any liabilities for not developing them? but if more O&G is needed by the UK it positions HHR to slowly grow into a reliable partner for the UK.
I personally would be keen to see the company pivot into some renewable tech once the bank balance is healthy, maybe hydrogen or carbon given the geo expertise of the team. It would be prudential being in a declining industry..
but i'm getting ahead of myself. lets hope funding is secured in the next few weeks and shovels hit the seabed
