We have seen that logic and common sense does not always drive things. I saw in Germany one minister now suggest financial relief for the increased cost of electricity. He was part of the decision to shut down the new clear plants. Perhaps he also voted for the sole dependency of Russian gas.

My point being that we are up against forces not driven by logic. Fortunately the glue and paint mop does excellent marketing for not having that idea in charge of things. I think we all agree on a reasonable and balanced transition to sustainable energy. Still wont be a surprise for me if they make an impact.

In my backyard they discovered there was natural gas in the hills (Surrey). After lengthy discussions it was abandoned. Not because of fragging or similar. It was because it would not look pretty having all this equipment installed on the hills. It was quite a large find and could have helped tremendously.
