And I stand by what I said... the tonnage they claim they 'screened' (reading between the lines "have selected for processing") will be the tonnage to the plant. And the average grade (so yes, high and low samples combined) was 1.8g/t. Seeing how they have run the plant up until now, they are not fine-grinding it (which Boppy was notorious for back in the 2000's and 2010's) so my educated-guess is they have only achieved a 25% recovery rate, or very similar to it.

Also, in ALL ores you will get an un-recoverable fraction of gold. It might only be 1%, but it will be there. As head grade drops, the recovery drops as this unrecoverable fraction becomes a larger component of overall grade. So if they achieved a 75% recovery on 4g/t gold like they did during 2021, this means 1g/t (or 25% as overall head grade) was unrecoverable. So, on a 1.8g/t average head grade, this 1g/t becomes 55% unrecoverable, so maximum recovery will be 45%. Hard reading, but the numbers don't lie.

the trick is to employ a smart processing team that knows how to get the unrecoverable fraction down. If they want to maximise the gold they recover, get some decent mets in there (and a GM that isn't a failed boat builder, according to his linkedin).
