They certainly have had an opportunity to provide reassurance to shareholders, but have decided to remain silent, and thus the assumptions turn to fear.

You can look at that two ways, they either give an incomplete (fluff) assessment early or give a complete assessment in the quarterly , the result would be the same anyway...much the same happened at CXO where HC bleated about the silence and management wanted a full review before putting anything on paper...HC see's things from a different perspective than managent and they both have a point but only one makes the decision and are damned if they do and damned if they don't anyway...
