The money might be needed for a settlement. They might be keeping it for now to accrue interest. They might be trying to hold as many cards to play as possible if there are still uncertainties lingering with Mali.

Using words like 'may' will protect them legally I suppose. They might not be 100% certain yet if they can give back the shares. Could be a 'we don't know what we don't know' situation.

I've received the email and I think it's a good idea having a new BOD appointed to represent shareholders. I'll be voting for that. Would be a good idea to update the website and to start getting information out there regarding the intent of this.
