Gangfeng is not a western country operating in a Russian proxy state.. There is plenty of scope for LLL to be in a seperate dispute that has more to do with government extorting Western companies for some much needed funds now that French and friends are gone, than it does with FFX. FFX got their own extortion issues to deal with.

If the issue was purely FFX it would be easy to drag Gangfeng into it if you really wanted to, as they were there every step of the way in spinning the profitable asset out of FFX and leaving it a shell.

I'm surprised we haven't found a way to waste more money, pleasantly surprised.
