    VRB still requires something substantial to power it. 220kV line has minimal power losses and powered by hydro will mean it has a good ESG footprint and supply continuity. It is by far the most economical option.
    I work in Victorian Electricity Supply Industry by the way so I have some good understanding of this process. About to build a feeder at a solar farm in Wangaratta in March.
