"A big definition program ahead"
Basically proving up deeper ounces within Never Never (and to a lesser extent WW & FP).
((I paraphrase some of it as best I can))
"I heard... they are chucking a couple of wedges in...."
"So you smash a 3 inch hole down, I think you collar the bottom to about 2 inch, possibly down as far as 900m which you collect the core for as a starting point, then you put this wedge down and it's positioned in such a way that when the drill bit hits it, it goes in the direction set by the wedge, by sitting on top of where the 3 inch becomes 2 inch, and it's angled in a certain way that the drill string hits it and deflects to where they want it to go, then chuck another wedge on with a different angle and repeat. So from that same hole you can splay out multiple holes. So it's a way to reduce costs dramatically, because you are not drilling a new 600m+ hole every time, other than the cost of the wedge. So you could tail off upwards of 10 holes. So it's a good way to drill deep and define deep areas without a sh&tload of exploration costs."
I believe others have already put up some great info on the use of a wedge on the SPR threads, perhaps they can repost etc?
I wonder if they will also look at using the wedges for WW & FP?
