all these critical minerals producers have been trumpeting the potential for a large premium for IRA compliant materials vs. 'non-western' products. you can see this happening in cobalt, graphite and rare earths especially since china controls most of the supply chain. however i have not yet seen any of this happen in real life. i still think the 'ethical' / 'allied' price premium is a dream unless it's offset by other price incentives. corporations are driven by profit. go ask ASM if they are getting a premium on their NdPr because it's non-chinese, i would say probably not.
