Well that didn't take long for the despondency to weigh. ASM is starting to provide the supply it negotiated with Noveon and USA Rare Earth. The Stillwater facility, literally the only decently sized new Rare Earths manufacturing facility, was only ever aiming for 1200 tons of magnets a year for 2024, but rising to 4800 tons soon after. ASM obviously pressing ahead with its contract to supply 60% of its input ore needs. That's a big contract if you do the math on likely supply.
Now Noveon a bit tardy, was meant to be 100 tonnes starting in June 2023 to March 2024 from preliminary reports. Obviously and perhaps predictably that timeline has blown out. The contract still there.
But more importantly clearly more contracts likely to be announced soon....not soon enough, but obviously coming.
