I would guess that eventually they will get a big German government loan or grant funding.They seem to be in the right space at the right time.Thus hasn't happened yet.
However when the first products come off the line and are adequate and demonstrated. After perhaps first sale and instalation, with government officials visiting the in operation successful site/s.The funding will come.
