Also, thank you for pulling me up on "high interest rates" a week ago in this post: 72316477. After the historical lows through covid, I was referring more to the present climate of rising rates, as so many both here and abroad buy into the bated breath suspense of anticipating near term cuts.
Your post is a good reminder that 2024 offers a reasonable environment to finalise P1's funding package. I was a teenager during those high rate years you mentioned and remember my father being inordinately pleased by 18% term deposits in the early 1980's.
