Investors will be surprised that some people know little about LPD, yet comment frequently. Take for example ignorance of the supply of sulphuric acid.
To de-risk the P1 project, LPD has secured a supply of H2SO4 for the first 3 years (announced 2023-02-01). This allows the UAE team to bring the P1 plant up to nameplate production, without the distraction of the parallel construction of a sulphuric acid plant.
Meanwhile, the DFS highlights one the benefits of situating the P1 plant in UAE: Abu Dhabi is the WORLD'S LARGEST PRODUCER OF SULPHUR. Even the non-chemist readers may guess that sulphur is a key component in the production of sulphuric acid.
It's better for investors in LPD to rely more on information released by the company, than on ill-informed comment from random people pushing an agendum.
