@tropic - re: your point 2. My concern with counting on the R&D rebate was their decision to sell and lease back the plant. I’m no tax accountant but I’m not sure that the ATO would be willing to refund capital expenditure for assets that were subsequently sold. Not sure what the % of the rebate was tied up in those assets but that might be the bone of contention with the ATO.
