Of course there's huge risks. If there were none you could justify a $5-$10 share price based on future earnings. And a recession could happen just as people have been predicting every year for the past every year. But it's actually pretty meaningless. Industry doesn't just stop in a recession. No central bank will allow significant deflation. They might allow inflation to get out of control but never deflation.
