Already at 20 Kelvins = -253°C for the helium storage tank so not far off the -269°C needed. With the liquid helium to be produced to be used to cool it down the final few degrees by the look of it.

Thanks for the fact sheet Spider. It reminds us how frigging cold this process is.

It is seriously difficult to operate at those low temperatures - little wonder that LHe is such a devilishly difficult product to produce, and why LHe plants around the world have such production problems.

Still us RLT bittereinders hope the chinese-american rocket scientist OEM LHe pilot plant will work, even after the construction and commissioning fiasco.
