Interest in lithium mining, particularly in high cost jurisdictions like Australia, is waning (waned?) fast.

Better to mothball any Spodumene tenements and concentrate solely on the iron. Companies like JNO could spruik Spodumene a few years ago, when it was at record high prices. Nowadays, the Lithium price continues to plummet as supply exceeds demand and the gloss comes off EVs.

I see iron ore prices recovering faster than Lithium when interest rates start dropping, but at the end of the day, Australia may never be able to economically mine Spodumene and compete with suppliers in Africa and the Americas - IMHO..
