Greenbushes halted their mining operations and treated stockpiles for a quarter in late 2023 I believe. They also bought concentrate on the spot market to fulfill their offtakes as they had a pricing mechanism, which lagged behind spot pricing.
Sayona could do the same, noone would stop them.
