It is an interesting question you pose regarding monthly production updates.
As I see it SFX are caught between two opposing considerations here.
On one hand I can't imagine the TB Production Manager or the Executive Chairman would support monthly reporting. After being involved in mining refining R&D for a number of years many moons ago you need a month (or more) to determine that your operational settings at any given point in time are delivering statistically meaningful outcomes before you make changes to move to the next set of settings to optimise the process. Monthly reporting runs the real risk of reporting statistical noise.
On the other, if good progress optimising TB's mining and refining processes occurs over a month (or more) in this quarter, there is a real risk that insiders or associates of insiders with operational visibility indulge in insider trading.
My preference would be for statistically meaningful operational improvements to be reported as they become available during the quarter.
Is that going to happen? Unlikely IMO.
