Iluka's CEO is probably just very salty that the current NdPr price is US$58/kg and they are assuming US$106/kg in their Eneabba refinery DFS. And that 106/kg is required for them to generate like a 15% IRR, so below US$100/kg they are going to be struggling.. Unfortunately for Iluka, their refinery CAPEX also blew out from AUD1.2 BILLION to 1.8 BILLION, so they are short a cool $600m AUD... That Eneabba refinery is going to be a train wreck when it comes online if rare earth prices don't double from here and stay up (which if it happens will help all REE companies, even OD6).

Back to OD6, if they are talking offtake they must be getting close to producing a maiden MREC product? HRE (which I used to hold) are trying to do just that but have had a whopping 6 month slip on timeline for whatever reason. Wonder when the market might see a maiden MREC from OD6? BH being a met, surely he can whip up a 60% TREO 0.1% Al MREC product quick fast?
